On April 27th 2018, Ms. Aya Yokotsuka (a graduate student of DAAS) received an Encouragement Prize of Sasakawa Scientific Research Grant for outstanding research activities from the Japan Science Society.
The title of her study is “How Local Perceptions of Bonobos (Pan paniscus ) Become Diversified: Focus on food taboo to bonobos and its acculturation among Bongando ethnic group in DRCongo.”
