On April 21st 2018, Ms. Haregewoin Bekele (a graduate student of DAAS) received an award for outstanding presentation (oral) at 27th Congress of Japan Association for Nilo-Ethiopian Studies.
The title of her presentation was “The social matrix of municipal solid waste management in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.”
