On April 21st 2018, Ms. Chiharu Kamimura (a graduate student of DAAS) received an award for outstanding presentation (poster) at 27th Congress of Japan Association for Nilo-Ethiopian Studies.
The title of her presentation was “Local Food for Health and Well-being in Everyday Life: Spice Usage and Fermented Food in the Rural Amhara Region, Ethiopia.”
